Beach Church is searching for a Director of Kids’ Ministry. BeachKids exists to raise up kids who follow Jesus. The Director of Kids’ Ministry will play a huge role in that by living a life surrendered to the Holy Spirit and allowing their personal faith to shape how they lead staff, volunteers, and kids. Reporting to and working the Family Pastor, the Director of Kids’ Ministry will plan, budget, create vision, and execute different elements of the BeachKids Ministry. Key Responsibilities:
• Builds, organizes, and manages services, events, and projects from start to completion
• Develops and maintains the ministry calendar
• Leads and cast vision consistent with the mission, vision, and values of Beach Church
• Designs and implements systems and processes that create a culture of excellence and health
• Responsible for ministry outcomes, including but not limited to volunteer health and performance metrics
• Works with the Family Pastor to help develop and manage overall ministry budget
• Sets specific goals that drive the ministry forward
• Provides spiritual guidance, teaching, and mentoring for team and volunteers
Qualifications:
• Ability to recruit, develop, and lead teams of adult and student volunteers
• Undergraduate degree in elementary education, Christian education, family ministry, or commensurate experience is preferred
• Served in volunteer capacity as a strong leader within a church
• Served 3-5 years as a coordinator or comparable position
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written skills
